This fall the labor market in Ukraine has revived. The largest number of vacancies in October was registered in the Kyiv region, as well as in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk provinces.

According to the statistics, this has never happened before: a record high number of robots have been employed in North America in 2021.

If one takes a look at the statistics, one gains an obvious impression that most plants have personnel who are over 40. Surprisingly, most of the personnel are made up of pensioners.  

HR-manager is a person managing the personnel: he or she hires new people, supports, motivates and helps them. Difficult as it is, this job is also interesting. The HR-manager has to find common language with everyone, he or she is supposed to be an accomplished psychologist and possess communication skills. Moreover, such a manager has to always strive for improvement, to be well-rounded and to keep track of all new trends and nuances of the labor market.

In an era of informational technologies remote work does not come as a surprise. Quite the reverse, it has become a fact of life both for employees and employers. Moreover, lots of people purposefully search for opportunities of remote work. In fact, there are many reasons for this, starting with time-saving and down on to psychological health and personal preferences. The most common reason, however, is kids, especially the small ones. Naturally, it is of importance for the parents to not only financially support their families, but also to spend as much time as possible with their children, watch them grow and develop, to be with them 24/7.

It was obvious that the matter of remote work would not be ignored in terms of legislation. Considering an incredible popularization of working remotely and from home, a question has arisen as to whether the state would exert its control over it. It is to this end that the Ukrainian Parliament, Verkhovna Rada, has passed a law regulating remote work and work from home. The law also contains explanations of the two kinds of work, as well as conditions for the labor contract, rights, and obligations of parties. It is worth finding out to what extent this law has influenced the working conditions of ordinary Ukrainians.

According to the statistics, as of January 2021 there are 477 thousand of unemployed with only 43 thousand of available jobs. Just think of how high the rate is today and what the numbers might look like tomorrow!
